Durban July ante-post?
15 years 4 months ago
Good morning does anyone have any thoughts on who will emerge as July candidates?
Pocket Power, River Jetez, Pierre Jordan, Rudra, Mother Russia etc
As normal we find ourselves with many options on ante post for Cheltenham/2000 gns/Derby etc.
Is it early for us to consider how can win our premier race with 5 months to go?
What are your thoughts and long term predictions?
Should Interbet load the fields and let the punters request the odds and bookies match

Read ,that PP and River Jetez will most likely miss the July, they were trying to get a change in the quarantine laws to get her over to Dubai and if that fails she will have a run in the Empress i beleive then retire to be a mummy..

maybe interbet should register their bookmaking license in a foreign land and have a betfair scenario as it is obvious that our bookies dont offer odds on our local racing antepost nevermind the july...

Bookies are fighting back in the UK Pirates,Betfair`s premium charges,Bookies GTD Odds, oncourse bookies taking on Betfairs betting %,the main bookies moving ofshore in the UK seems to have brought a bit Value back to the punter..
None of the above helps the stakes pot in the UK though!!

I dont think bookies can afford to risk long term ante post in SA
