No CnC, it's not an insult if it's true.
A penalty will not deter if it doesn't have teeth. I wouldn't want a rider who can't pass a breath-alizer, and why should I? Neither do I want an addict for obvious reasons.
Why should jockeys not live with the consequences of their actions like everyone else? Some think it's an exciting career worth a bit of dedication and professionalism. At the end of the day they are selling a personal service, excuses won't help in a competitive business and rightly so.

Why stick your interferring gob into it when it does not involve you. If you want to be involved in a slanging match then you have come to the right place whereas I am concerned.

If they worked for me, they would be fired the 2nd time.
If they drove a bus or taxi, racing car or race horse, they would be fired the first time.
This is a no brainer, how would you live with yourself when you do nothing and these people kill themselves or others?

I hear where you are coming from but taking away the mans livelihood is exactly what will push him over the edge and that is akin to throwing him to the wolves....dont get me wrong,I am vehemently anti drugs but a helping hand will always be a better option than an iron fist....
Give everything but up!

Coleman has been suspended, not banned.
The length of the suspension is not material.
He needs to kick the habit (or 3 actually), then show he's done that.
Talking to Andrew sounds a good idea.
He can no doubt re-apply before his time is up - when he's clean.
The NHA has rules to keep, but it's not the Spanish inquisition.
I look forward to May, when 'Nando Meets Dr Who'.
Any ante-post offers?
