Asiatic Boy (Arg), the 2007 United Arab Emirates Triple Crown winner, has been retired to stand privately at the Menditeguy family's Haras Abolengo in Argentina for the 2010 Southern Hemisphere season.
The seven-year-old by Not for Sale out of winner S. S. Asiatic, by Polish Navy, finished second in the 2006 Gran Criterium (Arg-G1), which prompted his sale to Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Maktoum.
Sent to Dubai to trainer Mike de Kock, Asiatic Boy reeled off victories in the 2007 United Arab Emirates Two Thousand Guineas (UAE-G3), Bahri Al Bastikya, and S & M al Naboodah Group United Arab Emirates Derby (UAE-G3) to clinch the UAE Triple Crown. He also won the 2008 Meydan Al Shindagha Sprint (UAE-G3) before finishing second to U.S. Horse of the Year Curlin in the Emirates Airline Dubai World Cup (UAE-G1) and capturing the ’09 Maktoum Challenge Round 3 (UAE-G2).
