The politics of racing is not for the faint hearted and can really kill your passion especially if you try to change things but find that some things will never change. Beleive me there are people out there involved in admin that have changed things for the better and hopefully more of these guys/girls surface or the game will be lost. I'm looking at the situation long term - 30 years of fun but enough is enough - time to start looking for a new hobby that gives me back something positive to add to my life. Nowadays it seems that all I seem to get from racing is a reason to moan which is not really fun at all.

Mr H,
You have hit the nail on the head, racing is supposed to be fun,but @ the same time as advertised it's supposed to be the 'brain game'.I will never give up punting,it's how I make a living, but with modern technology I certainly may start breaking into international markets as opposed to sticking to what I know, simply because the non-sensical results that are so prevalent these days.
More than that though,I am tired of an industry that runs it's business like the customer will simply be there forever no matter how they treat us.I'm also tired of moaning, but as is very evident from this thread there are many people who have been in this game for decades who have really reached the point where they are ready to give it up.
PGE run their business like their patrons are forever going to be uneducated punters who use a newspaper to chose what to punt.Keeping people in the dark has worked for a long time, but just like bookmakers who used to get away with laying punters 6-1 about two 2-1 shots on the white chart PGE will in time find that their customer base has eroded and that there is nobody to take their place.
I am really tired of bitching on ABC so this will be the last time I actually do in terms of PGE,but it really is time to wake up because just like the loss of the RUK deal they have a few shocks around the corner I fancy and yet they can't even seem to see them coming.

Or taking them to a Manchester United game in which United are a goal down and the ref gives them 7 minutes to equalise and if they fail to do so then the Man United manager still curses and swears at the end of it. That would surely turn people off their porridge let alone football

You a good man Zoro, just punt against Man United. Because the bookies give generous offers aginst Man UNited I am up over 800 pounds this season on Uniteds defeats. I will stay away this week because they have Burnley at home and a friendly ref as well to boot.

I disagree
each race course must be approached from a different angle.
(PAC MILLER PARK) Kimberly is a great place to play jackpots.
R6 to R12 combinations taken a 100 times.
PA..PAC MILLER have the exclusive..
not a course to punt winners..
VAAL...most WIN and LAY scemers are operating on this course..
straight line PA
PE...PA multiple % for R1000
