Aussies to smart for Local horseflesh?

After seeing to name just a few Aussie greats eg Oracy, Curved ball,it appears the Aussie horseflesh is once again streets ahead of our local flesh.I saw C Laird being interviewed and he said he was on his way to Australia to the Magic Millions to purchase i assume for his top client Mr Jooste some Aussie horseflesh.Im sure Paul Weeks cant wait to welcome Charles to the sales,which is one of the great sales around.Local trainers will get 5 star treatment as they board and exit to Australia,where Andy Williams will show them around i pressume.I assume that our local flesh is still not on par with the Aussie horseflesh so our local trainers flock to buy imported stocks.

Their stallions too strong for us.

Jet Master would be ordinary there and would be lucky to stand for Au$30K.

Curved Ball (Au$200k) is by fastnet Rock and stands at Au$60K (R400,000);
Oracy by Zabeel stands at Au$90k (R600,000) and
Dan Delago is by Encosta Delago is now Au$220K (R1,500,000)

yes some crackers coming out from Aus but also some expensive flops, can't recall the names but have seen a few struggling Aus-bred horses running out in SA that no doubt were not cheapies.
