I like the way you think CnC.

Why not, Tommy. Give them free meetings they can take bets on. That's what they thrive on. Give them the Tote rights gratis in exchange for a share of the take to be divided with the course operator. It would be money for nothing for PGE.

I'm as serious as cancer. I would love nothing in this world more than to sock it to Phumelela.
They have been running riot since the company was taken "public" and now all that matters is the share price.
i suggest they can all the racecourses and bet exclusively on international racing and virtual stuff.
Come on guys...............Who is with me? I have some spare cash lying around. Who would be interested in buying some land with me?
Prime horseracing real estate, great opportunities, "family business"

The land must be worth less now than what it was when it was sold?

Mick Goss can be roped in as our marketing man. He could sell snow shoes in Cairo and he does business with the Maktoums regularly, as far as I can tell.

Youre right Magic,
We would have to make it as attractive to them as possible.
Jayson, would Hollywood be interested in relocating their headquarters to Newmarket?
Would you guys give up the ocean for the money?

probably go on auction soon. I have posted ownership details here before.
Probably pay 20 million to get it now but imagine rates and taxes must be huge by now.
rebuild another 100mill if you lucky . Put up storage units like Gosforth Park

Surely the rates and taxes should be the problem of the current owners?
I was thinking along the lines of 150-million, all up.
Let me tell you guys something......I don't think the money is the problem, just the drive and will to get this thing off the ground. We have PLENTY of that around here and also more than enough love for the game.
My only one concern would be Phumelela. There must be something that has stopped the boys from Randjies not getting their own course as they have wanted to do forever......Not sure what that is, but I would guess it has something to do with the big P.
I would even be willing to move back to SA to get this thing DONE!!! (Pending my wifes approval of course)
