Romeo is a good guy. Asked him the other day what was going on and he answered '' Boy, you know my main business is trucking ! ''. Romeo ain't short of cash.....infact his loaded. Racing is a hobby.

for me these small time trainers make the game of racing..racing has become extremely boring since the big yards have 200 horses and 100 million dollars to spend every year..its all about numbers and the skill of horsemanship has been lost..

I'm waiting for Grey Oasis to pop up in one of those reduced stakes jobs at the Vaal. With my luck she'll beat Bells-A-Calling by a short head...lol. BTW, Romeo is one of the funniest blokes in racing and when and his good mate St John get going it can split your sides!

Rain, weak fields, Rain, Figs= 50-1 - He does not have the best stock but keeps them sound enough to race more in a year than most run in two - good for racing to have smaller yards with a different approach
