Tellytrack should offer such a facility. Or else the company which teaches pigs to fly. This aint a cutting edge continent, to put it candidly and mildly.

probably best bet is just to record them from now and build up your own data base, sure a few of our more shrew punters have this?

Video images are very hard on INTERNET usage so for the average SA consumer viewing 2 minutes races 8 9 OR so daily would be a very expensive exercise. What TT should do is archive/compressed say daily a set of recordings of the video data and offer the RA members a site where they can download and view or even at the track give the RA members option to collect the video replays On a disk etc.

Are we not all forgeting who owns the rights to these replays.
Is it a question of making money or providing a service?
I know I find it frustrating.

On tabgold you can get video footage for Kenilworth and KZN only but it is for the last 300m or so which probably is not what you are looking for

Absolute rubbish, the videos could all be loaded onto Youtube, the only costs will be loading the videos up. Youtube takes away the costs of bandwidth usage as they host the download.
Lets say 1 full race is around 10 mb. An average days racing has 9 races with 2 centres operating on a Saturday. Thats 720 mb per week so about 3GB per month.
I'm not sure what this would cost but R1000 per month at the very most would be my guess. So Barry that about $130 per month to Phumulela. For a listed company wtf is R1000 per month?!!!
Broadband speeds are not nearly as fast as the US but are more than adequate for loading 10 mb files onto the net...

You are dealing with incompetence of the highest order so its just about par for the course.
Hibs I got a response from Phumulela's David Attenbourough in 2006 that there would be full replays on the net in 2007. Well Christmas is also coming...
