Saturday at Kenilworth - Clash of the TITANS
15 years 6 months ago
I'm pretty excited about the clash of Pocket Power and Big City Life this Saturday at Kenilworth!!!!!!!!!!!
In the big shceme of things this Pinnacle Plate may not mean much but it is going to be real exciting!!!
At the weights PP whould be the one to beat but we all know that his preparation has been quite a lot slower this year than in previous years!!
Post your comments about this race. I'm sure we will have two distinct camps on who is going to come out tops here.......
These type of events is what racing needs. We need to make a big deal about our champions!
Go Pocket Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can`t be sure, but is this not a change of mind?
Im sure they announced that PP was running only 3 races during the Summer the Diadem Stakes, Queen’s Plate and J&B Met.

I believe youre right Hibs and onto of that I don't think he has been in full training all that long.
I have no doubt this is a pipe opener and that he will come on, but even so at the weights all he has to do is show up??
Interesting race on the cards.
We have to ask ourselves due to the race distance.....Who would you rather be with over 1200m AFTER a rest? PP or BCL?
I know the distance is 1500m but I feel that PP will not have to be fully wound up at these weights to have a huge chance!

Air Combat could steal it as he should be fitter that both PP and BCL and 1500m looks ideal for him...
