Scotia after the Summer Cup

Good morning all, hope you enjoyed the Summer Cup meeting?



Pity we had such a poor attendance, as normal site has been full of suggestions and ideas on how to make it happen for next year, time will tell, but we have the July and Met to experience before that.

Well done to the connections of Aslan, it was great to see so much joy in the winners enclosure and what a special day for Sean Tarry, great stuff.




On the subject of getting people back to the track, after watching Denman power its way to a great Hennessey win plus every chance of Kauto Star winning on boxing day, we will then be looking forward to a potential Cheltenham Gold Cup clash to rate along the lines of Arkle vs Mill House, Ali vs Frazier, I look forward to the “decider” in March, book your ticket now, only 70 GBP, to get into the track, if you can get one?

Vodka won the Japan Cup to make it 7 group one wins, by the shortest of heads and the fav Conduit could only manage 4th.



Chelsea would appear to be the real deal for the EPL, but soccer is a strange game at times.



On the rugby front thought the All Blacks were awesome, but what I know about rugby is dangerous, next I will be fancying the Scots to beat Australia lol.

We only have 25 punting days to xmas and I could do with a few winners, have a few parties planned and overseas visitors on the way for a Clan gathering, on the subject of the Clan, no further comment until I speak to my lawyer (and he is in the next cell).



Remember its better to give than receive at this time of the year, but not sure that includes the “bookies”
