Can some owners please give this boy better horses to ride. He is clearly capable and continues to win on outsiders (20/1 and 33/1 shots) and throws us out of all the exotics. Give him decent rides and I'm sure he wont let us all down....

Yeah good young apprentice.neva to be completely ruled out.dont forget ryan curling.i wondr whats their position on the current jockey standings.any1 know where we can view these standings perhaps?

You can view the current standings on www.nhra.co.za & go to current season & then apprentices. Don't forget the two apprentices in Gauteng T Appie & E Pheiffer they certainly coming on the right way.

My vote for most improved must go to young Pheiffer (I thought I saw 'the look' in Appie's eye the other day after winning for Weiho- once you see that you know the time has come to back them on anything as they are getting a bit of confidence) While on the subject I've seldom seen a jockey ride like Simons has since his fall (normally a bit cautious but this guy seems like he's riding for his life - well done a testament to his character)
