Strange that when he gets beat then most of you on this forum spit the dummy and throw your toys out of your cots. Yet yesterday he comes up with a five timer and not a word. Now if Marcus had done that you all would be virtually you know what, and this forum would be jammed packed singing his praises. Well done Neisius on an outstanding days work.

Difference is Marcus has big days more often than anyone else, hence the deserved praise

C&C
Karl is brilliant..
yesterday he got his chop...1000 times...and I got mine..less but is was good..
but when he is more brilliant...
he gets his chop 1000 times...and get ZERO....then we "vloek" him..
eitherway..he is still brilliant...

top rider for decades- multiple feature race winners, the problem is that he doesnt price up the false favs he often has to ride- a lot of the time on form they shouldnt be the short prices they are. also its amazing how the trainers are never questioned if it runs poorly - maybe they changed a work pattern that didnt agree etc. Dont blame jocks all the time- great riding karl and more to come wednesday i am sure.

With jockeys like Karl , Striker and even Lloyd for that matter, you just have to read them to play them

Some of the biggest owners and trainers in the game continue to put Karl on good and/or strongly fancied horses. They are not idiots. Yet there are those who couldn't tell a bridle from a bridal suite who think they know better than the likes of Bass and Kannemeyer and the so-called Mr Valor. What a joke!

I agree that some of the biggest owners and trainers will put Karl on a good and/or strongly fancied horses.
But I have a different view as to why they do it.
Like Roy Curling ran Transvaal, Karl Runs Capetown.
The jockeys dont backchat when he speaks..
And they dont always know what his plans are..
And the KNZ guys..the way Kevin Shea/Robbie Hill/S Cormack ran the show..
And in Gauteng, SOS is surely missed....

what a load of crap. no one runs any show- its about respect for the more older experienced jocks. Racing is clean 99% of the time- if you dont believe that then dont play and stop moaning about jocks not trying or trying to run the show, maybe in the past it might have been the case but not now. if it were so easy to be corrupt why they all still waking up at 4 to go to work.... cos its their living and they have to do it, they may punt a few that win but at the end of the day we study form and its all out there to see.
