The payed EXPERT (DARYL MAREE - Utmost respect for him) bankers a horse (no 2 in southwell - ran fifth on debut - is supported all the way to 7-10) and Neil comments from the studio that the horse looks fat and tries his best to put the world off the horse. Surely the boys in the UK know a little bit more than Neil. Why make any comments on the UK unless it's from an expert (the best calls I've seen from there are from the UK commentator when he gives a PA). The end result Maree's horse wins easily - don't pretend to be an expert in the UK it makes a mockery of the punter who if he has acess to the web will more likely have a better idea than Neil or anyone else in the studio locally unless like Maree you've actually studied the form and betting moves properley.,

For a start the studio announcer should be armed with the UK Computaform, which is downloadable, not the virtually useless free Tab sheet.

I find Neil to be unbeleivably irritating he treats his audience like primary school children and himself like a school teacher.I also cant understand why they dont give Darryl more airtime in place of Julie Nico and Neil.He has a far better all round knowledge of racing and punting than the rest of them combined.

You won't be surprised to learn he once WAS a school teacher !!!!

I enjoy reading the UK hurdle sites for tips if i am home and taking the odd bet. Often they comment that horsies have had some runs on flats to tune up. Not once have i heard a Telly"Postive"track announcer make mention or even explain why this could be a benefit.

All they do is read what is on the screen. I can do that myself but the odd blind / illitterated person probably appreciates the help.

Illitterated person........is this a person who can't read or right and is easily irratated ??
