Four wins for three Jocks on a ten race card is pretty impressive stuff .

Doug Whyte rode a double aboard Lucky Red in the CHINESE GENERAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CUP (HANDICAP) HK$ 850,000.00 and Liverbird in the ZHUHAI HANDICAP HK$ 485,000.00 .

Greg Cheyne struck aboard High Intelligent in the SHENZHEN HANDICAP HK$ 625,000.00

Jeff Lloyd won the big race of the day aboard Fleeting Command in the THE KWANGTUNG HANDICAP CUP (HANDICAP) HK$ 1,750,000.00

Doug Whyte also earned plenty of placed money with a second an two thirds, with $1HK slighty higher than the R1 a good day was had by all!!!

Can Doug Whyte still be considered South African??? he has become a racing god and celebrity over in Hong Kong, why trade that in to ride in average local meetings and get no public recognition? When was the last time that he had a ride in south africa???

Would be interesting to hear the various thoughts.
