Owner's 4 sons divide string of 39 horses with help form scotia

The owner stated in his will

His string of horses needs to be divided as follows :

1/2 to Son #1
1/4 to SOn #2
1/8 to Son #3
1/10 to Son #4

so the time has come..
39 horses in the string..

Scotia observes the division..

1/2 of 39 to son #1..19.??
1/4 of 39 to son #2..9.??
1/8 of 39 to son #3..4.??
1/10 of 39 to son #4..3.9..

this is not working..

SO Scotia gets Clan Classique and adds it to the 39 horses
40 horses in the string now..
so they start again...

1/2 of 40 to son #1..20 horses
1/4 of 40 to son #2..10 horses
1/8 of 40 to son #3..5 horses
1/10 of 40 to son #4..4 horses

TOTAL 39 HORSES....

So Scotia puts Clan Classique back in the box...
another good job done...

Good run from Clan Classique!!!!! I was trying to carry her into 4th spot...
