MAXIPOOL QTET PAYOUT QUESTION

Strange things in Clairwood 8 yesterday:

Pool jumps almost R500k in final seconds before off .

Then off a R1,1 million qtet pool the payout is only R331 with the third horse a relative outie at R5/ place - and weirdly the trifecta paid R171.

Now I know the Qtet and Trifecta are unrelated in practice, history shows a trend relationship between the two , dependant on price of 4th horse.

ja i noticed it too and i had the quartet so imagine my surprise when i saw the

payout.This has happened on a few carryovers and i'm beginning to think something fishy is going on.

Christo that was the whole idea in that SP article last week - the writer said that when we don't get answers we make our own assumptions.

2. Gauteng Gambling Board
3. MEC for Finance/Gambling & Premier of KZN
4. Min of DTI, Dr Rob Davies
5. National Gambling Board
6. Consumer Council (we are consumers!) & should not be short-changed!

I dont see a problem with the result. it looked a match race between 1 and 2 and you will probably find some clever punters with amo (or those with info) took the bet a few times perhaps 1 x 2 x F X F a few times. Was not the hardest of quartets to work out.

I watched the pool jump from R450 000 to R800 000 and R800 000 to a bar very quickly. Somebody or some group invested big on this bet.

20 times.....same
10 times.....same

in my group there are about 15 guys...that play every day....
the all fire..spend a R1000 or more on Quartets and trifecta's..
when you cath one early in the morning...20 times R30k...you have bullets to fire all day..
all moved to direct tote bets....since last sunday...

I copied my email to the MEC Finace and Premier; they responded sharp! Next step would have been the President! After that, blast on all the blogs/forums, local and international, including commerce and Governments!
