Another tough day trying to select winners.

Goodwood the first could be a dual between Set the Trend and Mirrored.
In th e second another fight out between Ialysos and Borderlesscott
the 3rd is best left alone
the 4th race the Irish raider Suailce
the 5th Suruor for win and place in the 6th Frankie Dettori should win on Water Biscuit and in the last race the 5 furlong charge take your pick as all have a chance
Stratford
Gemini Aahhs has a big chance in the first and in the 4th Persian Warrior should win

Dettori and Moore top Goodwood jockey table

A double for Frankie Dettori on day three of Glorious Goodwood gave him a share of the lead with Ryan Moore in the Racing Post-sponsored top jockey contest.

The leaders have three wins each with Jimmy Fortune and Neil Callan trailing by one, and Stan James make Moore 1-3 to land the prize, Dettori next best at 11-4 and Fortune an 8-1 shot.

Dettori landed his 50th Glorious Goodwood win when Schiaparelli triumphed for Godolphin in the Goodwood Cup. His second win on Thursday came in the penultimate race aboard Water Biscuit.

Earlier Callan briefly joined Ryan Moore at the top of the table. But the champion jockey's victory on Kingsgate Native in the Audi Stakes secured the jockey's third win of the week.

Moore also has two wins courtesy of day one success in the Betfair Gordon Stakes and the Detica Summer Stakes and on Tuesday. He drew a blank on Wednesday.

On day two the 2008 top jockey, Johnny Murtagh, chalked up his first win with his first ride of this year's festival.

The well-backed Rip Van Winkle, Murtagh's sole ride on Wednesday, romped to an easy victory in the Group 1 Sussex Stakes.

Jamie Spencer was another with just one ride on the dayand he made it a winning one on Alsace Lorraine.

Dettori top jockeys' table with four festival winners

FRANKIE DETTORI moved to the head of affairs in the Racing Post-sponsored top jockey contest at Glorious Goodwood on Friday.

The Godolphin rider's fourth win of the meeting came courtesy of Black Snowflake in the RSA Nursery Stakes.

Ryan Moore and Jimmy Fortune are next in the table with three wins each, with Richard Hughes and Neil Callan on two winners apiece.

Stan James make Dettori the 8-11 favourite to take the top jockey honours, with Ryan Moore next best at 11-10, while Jimmy Fortune is a 12-1 shot.

Fortune secured his third win of the competition with victory on Laa Rayb in the feature race, the Totesport Mile.

Jim Crowley had earlier denied Moore the opportunity to regain the lead when notching his first winner of the meeting in the opener on Illustrious Blue.

Crowley was then denied a quickfire double in the second race on the card when Tony Hamilton got Johannes home in front of Northern Dare to get his first winner on the board.

Richard Mullen also entered proceedings with his first winner when scoring on Summer Fete in the Group 3 Oak Tree Stakes, while Graham Gibbons got on the scoreboard courtesy of Noble Storm in the day-four finale.

Standings at end of day four

4 wins: Frankie Dettori

3 wins: Ryan Moore, Jimmy Fortune

2 wins: Neil Callan, Richard Hughes

1 win: Johnny Murtagh, Jamie Spencer, Tadhg O'Shea, Chris Catlin, Liam Jones, Adam Kirby, Tom Queally, Martin Dwyer, Greg Fairley, Jim Crowley, Tony Hamilton, Richard Mullen, Graham Gibbons

Jimmy Fortune, just touched off in the Blue Square Nassau Stakes, sits third with three successes so far at the five-day meeting.

Earlier, Greg Fairley was a big mover after scoring aboard Eastern Aria in the opener, joining a host of riders on two winners
