The stiff 1200m of the July Cup? Good point, though. Lots of options to consider! By the way, it may not be widely known that Our Giant and the Singapore flyer Rocket Man are out of the same mare. That may explain the Mercury Sprint result!

Going to Dubai? could be busy
Atomic Rain latest Godolphin purchase
USA: Listed winner Atomic Rain has been purchased privately by Godolphin to be sent racing in Dubai.
Fourth behind I Want Revenge in the Grade 1 Wood Memorial Stakes at Aqueduct before finishing down the field in the Kentucky Derby, the son of Smart Strike has been obtained from owners George and Lori Hall following his Listed Long Branch Stakes success at Monmouth Park on July 11.
Runner-up in the Grade 2 Remsen Stakes on his only start as a juvenile, the Kelly Breen-trained colt has won £121,886 in total prize-money to date.
Immediate plans for the three-year-old are undecided but he will be campaigned at Meydan in 2010.
Godolphin's racing manager Simon Crisford said: "We have purchased Atomic Rain to race in Dubai this winter but we will make a decision shortly with regard to his more immediate future."
