Has Khumalo been given the bullet?

I notice the very strong partnership of Mitch Wiese/ S'mango Khumalo appears to have fizzled out.

Is this correct ?

Mitch came back after a three week no racing.
Khumalo will be back on duty again during this month.

But why didn't he ride Favourite Island? Good job done by Fransie Herholdt, though. He won narrowly enough to be a possible candidate for the silly ride of the month comp, which might as well be renamed tight finish of the month.

Like it or not, it remains a white male dominated career - even though the likes of Muzi are improving - even Mark Khan doesn't seem to have the mental capacity anymore to ride at a top level for a season. But then are coloured guys, black or white in the new SA?
