Happy Easter guys !
Great to be back at Kenilworth again, much easier to find winners there..good actioned horses run well there and i believe it is still the long run in.

I will be going all out to catch the carryover P/6, and am glad to say that there are at least three runners on the card that make strong appeal.
I will be posting up my selections at 10h00 after viewing USO and receiving all the card scratchings. Day off, but will be going to the races with good intentions.I hope PUFFIN reads this and gives us his suggested perm and i will give mine and maybe we can combine the two and tip you guys into some money. So stay tuned and please add your selections..i really really like the card.

I have Parade Prince running in the first.

I would like to start off by reporting back on his last race which I would recommend punters draw a line through.

We fancied him very strongly last time out although I did not back him as 1/1 - 13/10 on a horserace is, in my opinion, a little too skinny for me.

The decision to fit him with blinkers was a mistake as he was almost impossible to saddle up. During the process he spread a shoe. He was moved to a different box to re-shoe him where he spent the next 15 minutes fighting his handlers and, in doing so, spread his other rear shoe. Eventually both rear shoes were removed.

I was then asked whether I wanted to scratch him or run him as he was now in a muck sweat and threatening to delay the start. This presented me with a 'no win' situation as I was sensitive to the market support. In particular I felt I would be compromising PA punters as there was no discernible second favourite who could supplant him as tote favourite. So we ran him in the hope that he might still make the places - which unfortunately did not happen.

He is as well as he was last time and we fancy him strongly although I am unlikely to back him at the quoted price of 5/2. If he goes to 3/1 or 7/2 I might have a small wager. I would rather have a major strike on the Waratahs/Bulls game but as that is taking place at the same time I am going to probably pass on both events and console myself with whatever stake money I might fluke. I must confess that I find it very difficult to assess one's own horses critically as I usually know TOO much and anything which goes awry leaves me with egg on my face.

Break a leg if you go for him or possibly wait for Bluemambo in a fortnight's time!

Morning guys.
Herewith my fancies for the day:Race 3--Goldine to beat Latifah.
Race 4__ Tokai ,very hard to beat, biggest dangers 2 and 9.
Race 5__ Palm Blue the one to beat ,she just needs to repeat her last two efforts(against boys) and she will win.I fancy her to win today and am a part owner as well.
Race 6 __ Field
Race 7__Two horse race__Baltic Beauty and Possible Dream
Race 8__ Royal Bounty a banker.
Race 9__ Field if you can afford it or otherwise 4,13 AND 14.

PICK 6 : 2,9,10/14/FIELD/1,6/1/FIELD
Smaller perm for a tighter budget , banker Tokai in the first leg. Therefore three bankers : TOKAI, Palm blue and Royal Bounty.

Have a great day and Garrick i will see you at the races.

Oh yes, nearly forgot,At Clairwood Bangor Bay,,use in doubles.
