Just from reading the posts, it must be Eruption or Erection?
Whatever, I just hope it comes up for him?

Well I see Jack fancies Fuzzy, so could be another winner for Jess? we hope for the best, has always proved a good horse to follow.

JACK MILNER RXP

FUZZY Cuzzy is one of those horses who rarely runs a bad race. While the Australian-bred gelding has yet to win a feature race, he did finish third in the Golden Loom Handicap, beaten 2.75 lengths by Battlestar Express, and was a 6.75-length fourth to Private Jet in the Grade 3 Lebelo Sprint.

In his last start Roy Magner’s charge was run off his feet by Royal Exit in the Tommy Hotspur Handicap but made late progress to finish just five lengths off the winner. It now seems that late in his four-year-old career he might be better over 1200m, although five of his six wins have come over 1000m.

His last victory was over 1200m on the Vaal turf and that is where he will be running Thursday when he contests Race 8, a MR 92 Handicap. Fuzzy Cuzzy has a good record at the course with a win and two seconds from his three starts. His victory two runs back came at the expense of Cyber Case, and it was a hard-fought one at that. He showed plenty of guts to beat Charles Laird’s runner by a short head.

He also has a wonderful rapport with jockey Gunter Wrogemann who has ridden him to four of his victories and into three places on the nine occasions he has been aboard.

It could again be a Laird runner he has to beat, this time in the form of Patrol Boat. Laird has two contenders in the line-up and stable jockey Anton Marcus has chosen to ride Destined To Be, who has been acutely erratic recently.

Gavin Lerena has ridden Patrol Boat in his last two starts and his form aboard the gelding includes a victory over Guarding Harry over the course and distance. His time of 68.63 sec was most impressive and a repeat of that run will make him a strong contender.

Lisa Harris may not be as dominant here as she is in Zimbabwe at the moment, but her string is starting to do well. Moonee Valley was touched off in the final strides by Paramo in Race 10 last Saturday and she will be hoping Syracuse can go one better at this meeting.

Harris must fancy his chances as she has given the ride to Piere Strydom who gets aboard for the first time. Syracuse has run over the course and distance in his last three races and has not been further back than 2.75 lengths. He ran a 1.75-length third to Cyber Case in his last start and the advantage he gains at the weights puts him close to Fuzzy Cuzzy.

National Pride, with Strydom up, was all the rage at Turffontein last time out but ``Lucky’’ Houdalakis’ runner lost ground at the start and was narrowly touched off by Celtic Dream.

A run earlier he had finished 1.25 lengths behind Patrol Boat and now meets his conqueror on 3kg better terms, courtesy of the 2.5kg allowance claimed by apprentice Donovan Mansour. With just 50kg to carry National Pride should be breathing down the necks of the leaders at the business end of the race.
Golden Chariot has not raced since June last year but Sean Tarry’s runner looks quite useful and any betting support for the Caesour gelding should be noted.

Diane Stenger saddles Edukat in Race 3 and the Mogok filly looks the nap bet on the card. She was supported from 14-1 to 7-1 to make a winning debut and looked to have it all sewn up with 100m to run but Irish import Sagrada came from near last to snare her on the line.

She takes on a bunch of mostly well-weathered maidens and looks impossible to oppose. As Sagrada is running in Race 7, an impressive win by Edukat will give an indication of what to expect.

I think me and Mac's (+2) wee Horse can get in the places last race - unless a couple of the 'newbies' (one an odds on fav!) come to race first time up.

Ouzo Mac, Jim.

(ps not on bookies, so can't watch boo hoo - lol!)

A superb jockey, maybe he read the site this morning under questions for Magic and thought he would try and ride the card to save us looking through the history books?
