I am very impressed with Superlative and will continue to follow

Superlative is a nice horse, but in a tough race with Lady Bequick and Sealed With A Kiss (if not needing the run) big contenders at the weights. Paint The Town caught the eye after a long rest and can go very close, especially now that Pushing The Edge is scratched, but has she has obviously had problems and could need one more run to reach her peak? I stress that I'm just supposing all this.

Pacific Princess may need it further but has a decent chance in race one, but my nap of the day on a card where nothing jumps out and hits me between the eyes is John Silver in the 3rd. His form is good and he may have met a very good maiden field when beaten by French Admiral over 1400m, running on well and looking like the mile of today's race would suit him better. That said, River Lodge has the form to win if he doesn't need the run after a very long break, so there's no big bets that I would recommend today.

been tough to win lately with all of viruses rain hampering preps and the splitting of the vaal track hasnt helped...become bit of a lottery

Don't feel alone Magic - my best bet won (Hab Acht) but the rest ran down the drain and into the sewer it seems - The draw down the straight seems best on the outside rail - I really hope i don't carry this form into Classic day -

It's the way it goes. Connections of John Silver had a much worse day than me. Horse was ready to win but did a tendon today and has been permanently suspended from racing.
