I watched idols a few weeks ago and almost pissed myself when i heard one of the contestant sing " killing me softly with his "sword". She then when on to do a remix, singing woza, woza. Well she probably got more talent than me. lol.

Felt that the incorrect 2 were voted off and at the time I said to my wife in jest that it was due to race. One of the judges Mara has publically claimed this to be true due to lack of votes being garnered by black kids for black contestants. she blames black radio for not supporting the black idols.

Dont really want to get into a race debate but I would be interested to know what percentage of total Mnet and Dstv subscription is held by black viewers. I am amazed that 15 years into democracy race is stil such an issue and that people like Mara still cant see the rise of a black middle class who have access to all that the rest of the race groups have.

Nope all races but comment was more about disposable income and the fact that his mates can send 200 sms messages each and some of the parents would not bat an eye. There is another guy I like as well but can't think of his name - it will come to me
