was there no racing today?

lack of racing posts today? everyone having a day off?

Spent the day at the races at Clairwood, a quick summary:

Very small crowd on the track. KZN Dolphins were playing Cobras at Kingsmead that may have had impact, but still, very low attendence. The Panoramique restaurant was only 1 available so booked in there, huge buffett, R110 pp, good views and restaurant was about 80% full so doing well there. Friendly service, seemed to be where most the trainers and owners sat for the day. The electronic results board was out of action so sometimes a bit of a delay to get confirmed 1-2-3-4.

As for the racing, well besides GILMORE GIRL (one to stay with) didn't have another winning bet on day. GOAT ran a great race for Laff against the boys and will win next time out. Laff had a good double to start day, Karis Teetan was riding very well with a few winners. And well done trainer ADAM KETHRO, 1st ever winner in 3rd race and then followed up by winning the last.

Clairwood still a lovely racecourse, just need to figure out how to get people back to the track again.
