Feedback from Gold Circle/Gill Simpkins.

I have to say that the inputs from Gill Simpkins the P.R. Manager of Gold Circle have been outstanding with regards the build up to the MET.(see the MET thread).

I have had daily articles with regards, jockeys,trainers,events, etc, and her obvious enthusiasm for her job and the co-ordination of the event will ensure another great day.

I have never met the lady, but we could do with her twin sister up North in an area we would appear to be behind our neighbours with,(any plans for the Summer Cup).

Well done Gill Simpkins on mastering the art of communications in your position as Public Relations Manager.

Just enquiring as to whether or not the riff raff are invited to the Met Day a la Summer Cup Day. Is the Met open to everyone or is it a corporate day like the Summer Cup, bearing in mind both have dedicated sponsors.

Not sure but I suspect that it is the same situation as the July. They set a maximum number of people to enter and once that number is reached, they close the gates.

Gill does a great job disseminating the Press Releases which are written by the likes of Dave Thiselton, Richard McMillan and Andrew Harrison.

There will be plenty more this week, I believe.

Hi Scotia - I am sure that you know that these same bits of info are carried on www.goldcircle.co.za/ . I wonder why the GC folk have opted to go with two very mediocre looking websites as opposed to one really special site? i do realise that P has a separate site from Saftote, but does GC really need 2 very average sites? My aim would be to attract eveyone to the same spot on the web.

Anyone have to agree with your comments on the P.R of Gill Simpkins. It is refreshing having someone from the powers that be taking the tome to let us all know how things are progressing.

Well still getting the emails, but the lady's name has gone, its from goldcircle, well at least someone is reading the site! More important,still getting the communications.

Sorry she is back, appears, I get both copies now.
