Holiday racing

No meetings in the UK for tomorrow and Xmas but on Boxing Day there are 10 meetings scheduled.

The lull before the storm Charlie, we should try and pick one winner at each meeting, or at least nine winner and play a Union Jack, I did that once on a bank holiday and had 8 from 8 and the last horse "the one in the middle of the union jack" was called "waite" and the bookies were closed, but the commentary was still playing, my future wife and I listen to the race behind a closed door.
The money paid for the wedding and honeymoon ( ok only a caravan holiday in Coldingham) but brings back the memories!

poor girls in the betting shops being made to work tommorrow,even tho there is no uk racing on,long gone are the days when the shops used to close for 3 or 4 days prior to christmas

Changed days my friend, when I was a bookie, it was a three day week, now a days, you might as well work in a supermarket? No rest for the wicked!
The punter is now 24/7 impossible to win?

noticed little shilling is running in the next race at fontwell,up 35 pound in the weights from just over 3 weeks ago
