No further action ???????

Race 9 Scottsville.
Judging by the interference at the 250m mark by the favourite No 8 Love Bird (who ran third) against at least two other horses including No. 5 Slick Chick, (who ran fourth), the Stipes after a race review, decided "No further action".
I couldn't believe it, (no financial interest whatsoever), as I believe Slick Chic should have been promoted to third and maybe Love Bird demoted to fourth or even fifth.
Any comments from Illustrious Clan Members?

i didn't see race but had R500 ew on Maritime Mist and listening to commentry it sounded like she ran on very late so not sure if she also got impacted by interference? If she was then that sums up a weekend of frustrating 2nd places for me!
