Hi Guys,

When Betfair shows the form of its horses, various letters/symbols are used and I can't fathom out what they mean.
Here are seven different formlines, each with an example which needs some explanation please.

P1-P6.............What does the "P" mean.
80-085............ " "-" "
310P.............. " "0" " Probably worse than 10th??
6158F............. " "F" "
612-U6............ " "U" "
34/4-0U3.......... " "/" "
00B870............ " "B' " .

Ek is net 'n Dom Naai.

Enjoy !!!

P = Pulled up
U = Unseated rider
0 = finished worse than 10th
B = Brought down
F = Fell
80-114 the - states the change of season

The / seperates the year..thus 23/455 he ran 23 in 2007 and 455 in 2008

Lovely Mori, all buttoned up.
Thanks.

Is there anything to indicate the horse has changed from flat racing to jumps ?

Can't think of that one Wally. If you are familier with trainers names of jumps or flat then you would be able to pick it up but 99 per cent of the time if a horse goes from flat to jumps the horse changes trainer.
