DOUBLE BETS ONTO DURBAN JULY

I just need some clarification please.

I will be trying some DOUBLE / TREBBLE   bets now  into the H.W  DURBAN JULY.

IF......    my 1st leg   WINS    today.... & my JULY hopefull  does NOT make FINAL field......   do I get a payout for leg1  or NOT ?

IF......  my 1st leg WINS..........  my  July horse   DOES MAKE FINAL FIELD.............   If my July horse then gets SCRATCHED  2 days BEFORE the big day.....  am I paid out for leg 1 or NOT ?

IF he gets SCRATCHED   on Sat.  DURBAN JULY DAY......    do I get paid out for  leg 1. ?

P.S.     right now am NOT ABLE to take any DOUBLE BETS onto  JULY with  ANTE POST BETTING.. !!!!!!!!!   just not available..

On the topic of ante post and related doubles.
I phoned a prominent bookmaking company on Friday morning and asked for a speculative related double, as I had done so in the past in a similar manner by taking Airways Law Cup trial into July, before it was a confirmed runner. I received a very nice ante post double. Even though it only ran 5th.. it was about the ante post thrill of having a big-odds gamble in play.
I know from previous experiences in UK… the books there are generally open to considering a speculative bet on almost anything…

I explained to said local chain (advertised as a major player, by the way) that I knew Zeits had not been nominated for July, but that considering there was still a supplementary stage coming up today, they would consider a related double Zeits Cup trial at 11/2 onto July. I wanted an each way, knowing that if it lost the bet was dead.
I had a sense my enquiry was not fully understood … yet I persevered as I presumed once the request was escalated to an oddsmaker.. they would get the drift and make up a speculative price…
I was therefore quite disappointed that they would not offer me a price. I was asked to hold as it was referred… and then told that as it was not in the July field yet, even though it there was still the opportunity to be supplemented in, I could not be offered a bet.
i feel this was a missed opportunity by said firm. Or do you think their explanation was fair enough?
and I missed another ticket with a dream…. 😴

when was it supplemented for the race ?   ok.....  I read supplemented  today.

i think u WERE ROBBED   Flydubai......  pity,...........   better u take the  19 / 1 on offer now  & combine with a few DOUBLES..

Think with the latest scratchings, the bookies suspend the ante post betting to adjust the market.

Fe w years back a horse was scratched but remained in the betting - a few people had a bet unbeknown to them that their fancy was scratched and a few days later found out that they had backed a scratched horse doing their money in cold blood.

The other thing with the scratchings of SIA  and 8 on 18, there will be a new top weight - this has a bearing on the fancied three year olds - think Star Major will carry 56.0kgs - 8 on 18 couldn't do it last year carrying 55.5kgs.

Betting has been re-opened now.

Remember the Hawaam incident when it was scratched just before loading - all the ante post bets were lost, the bets taken after the final field was announced, were refunded
