Overrated by 2L is JVG....I also think(and know to a certain degree) his best distance is between 1400 - 1800m.

STAR MAJOR is my pick while  MASTER SPY is a Future STAYER ON THE YEAR....only when Tarry realizes he is an out an out slayer but...If DE MELO leads on MS....and sets a decent pace he will be staying on well late.

IMO it is a pity that the first 3 races and the 8th and 9th are on Poly - at least the feature races are on turf.

I think in the Lonsdale I do not fancy Curious Girl; I do think that Continental Express is a big runner at great odds; in the Woolavington I think that the older mares will have sway - both Rainbow Lorikeet and Callmegetrix are big runners; in the Daily News, this will prove whether the Merits are correct - somehow I doubt it that Hazy Dazy will get it right - perhaps Chronicle King at 20s ...

Going to trust Andrew Fortune, said that Wish List and Note To Self are the best 3 year olds over ground in the country, good enough for me.

J van Vuuren has one horse on the daym race 1, Brigette Anne. Obviously has issue but don't believe they would have brought her down to watch the Woolavington if they had no expectations of her putting up a good effort. Her exposed form is not the worst, worth a punt.
