I always play a straight line P/A,not that it always arrives but today it looks like this:
Monte Cavallo/White House/BayardCrown/AQua Star/Pocket/Joshuas Dream /Mkombozi
Not for the faint hearted but worth using as a basis for your perm.
The talk around the stables is Rosellini and White House.Hope it helps !!

I like Cocoa Beach who tries the distance for the first time and judging by the way she has run most of her races she may just win this well. In her last race she would have been happy with another couple of 100 meters and would have won it.

My other for Kenilworth is an absolute lunatic. Floatyourboat Ok you can stop laughing for a minute. Cast your memories back to interviews held with Mike Bass on USO during the natal winter season when he stated that he will be beat Pocket Power with this horse one day. Maybe today is that day.
Lest we not forget other greats that have been beaten by so called esser horses. Big Brown, Curlin........ every short priced favourite at Scottsville.

Amazing, Ken races 4 & 5

The first three races, nothing was running on;

Cocoa Beach race 4 - Second, third last coming off the turn; no chance

Race 5

Quebec Express - Fourie, experienced jockey
Aqua Star - Faydherbe, experienced jockey

Second last and last coming into the straight; please folks, no conspiracy theories here; I just find it strange that these jockeys, who are riding the favourite and second favourites, and can see that nothing is running on, would not improve their positions before entering the straight.

Anyway...

Had a small interest in a horse early in the day, so stayed on to watch PP.

Was so impressed to watch PP reach for the magic once again where another would have gone up&down. Just for an instant it looked like it was too late to accelerate enough to win, then stupidly I realised normal gravity just doesn't apply.

Adios...she has never had a chance in every run so far...2 runs up the straight she was on the wrong side in the mud in winter,3rd run she won albeit without a whip in the jocks hand....then she switched the wrong way and the jock got a week and yday from a 12 draw she was wide on the first turn and that was race over....let things go her way for once and she'll be ok.....she's only a MR 82 so the handicapper doesnt think she's too good?

Puffin - watched the race a few times and it looked like Greg was vying for a good position early from a wide draw which seemed to use her up a bit from the gate, but others with a better draw were going just as hard then Greg dropped her out towards the rear. She seemed to be kept out of the race by other horses and no ne of the horses at Kenilworth were running on, on te day. Tough for even the best to win uner these conditions.

The MR82 can only work in her favour going forward and I am looking forward to see what draw she will crack for 06/12. I see that public draws are taking place on the Thursday before.

No offence Adios but the experts wrote Desert Links off to before the July where he ran 5th and the Gold Cup they said that he was carrying to much weight to win. I would not be writing this horse off as average just yet....

Winter rains messed her career up a bit. I've learned that this is a game of patience and this is not the end of the world for her and I am sure she will bounce back to devistate. This may just be a blessing in disguise.

If there was anything I learned from my brief to encounters with Basil Marcus is that he does not rush, or kill them just to get into a race. "Leave some meat on the bone for the Race..." and others that follow.

Wasnt Zirconeum devistating yeterday? Watch out Consenual and co. This one looks the winner.
