PRESS RELEASE


UPDATE – INQUIRY JOCKEY LUYOLO MXOTHWA


The Inquiry convened before an appointed Inquiry Board on 8 April 2026. Mr Mxothwa was legally represented.

By agreement between the parties the Inquiry was postponed to 15 April 2026.

Mr Mxothwa’s interim suspension remains in place pending the finalisation of the Inquiry.

The judicial system in SA is embarrassing 
nothing ever gets put to bed 
It's complicated 
bail and postponements are the name of the game

UPDATE – INQUIRY JOCKEY LUYOLO MXOTHWA


The Inquiry into Jockey Luyolo Mxothwa reconvened before an appointed Inquiry Board on 15 April 2026.

Following proceedings, the matter has been adjourned and will resume on 7 May 2026.

Mr Mxothwa’s interim suspension remains in place pending the finalisation of the Inquiry.
