No local racing.

Thought I would start a few comments on the International markets.

Please feel free to add comments.

United States 🇺🇸

Sat 1st November

The Breeders Cup Mile
Notable Speech must be a massive runner with its tremendous finishing burst.

The Classic has a potentially superb field

Sovereignty
Sierra Leone
Forever Young
Romantic Warrior

To mention a few

France 🇫🇷

The ARC 5th October

Aventure
Minnie Hawk

Australia 🇦🇺

18th October
I have no doubt that Ka Ying Rising will climb "Everest" and prove to be the World's best sprinter , take evens if u can ?

Cox Plate is on 25th
Via Sistina should get back on winning ways after false run race .

The Cup will take place on the 4th Nov this year and the UK 🇬🇧 challenge should be strong 💪
Scandinavia might arrive?

United Kingdom 🇬🇧

Champion Stakes 18th October
Ombudsman should win wherever it runs .

On the jumps I have a strong feeling for the Hollywood horse 🐎 IL ETAIT TEMPS Wherever it runs leading to Champion Chase.

Good Punting 👍

Thoughts on big races:
ARC: Japanese have never won it - came close in 2012 with Orfevre.
May have 4 runners this time (Oct 5) with main hopes Croix Du Nord and Byzantime Dream (possibly Oisin Murphy).

Croix now 8-1 following win in Gr 3 at Longcamp on Sunday where he beat Daryx by a short-head. Daryx went to York unbeaten and I was shocked to see him finish last in Juddmonte.
Still think Aventure (4-1) is the one to back in the Arc - filly impressed in recent Prix Vermeille and Maxime Guyon knows every blade of Longchamp.

MELBOURNE CUP
Joseph O'Brien's Al Riffa now 6-1 favourite for Nov 4 race and would give Joseph O'Brien (only 32) his third Cup win. Good performance in Irish St Leger but current price no gift. Interesting to see if Leger winner, Scandinavia, makes the trip. No early bet suggested.

Ozzie

Mr Brightside is really tough to get past. 20 wins 12 seconds from 46 starts 16 million dollars in prize money
