Challenging card as per usual at Fairview - and it some of the hotties do not arrive, decent divs possible ?

R1: Between Elvis and myself we had the 1/2 sister (turned out the only one that was not that great) of King Prawn - money talks again and seems like only Winter Warfare could beat him
R2: Cliff Top overdue - but at the weights it could be worth going with Where's the Party ....
R3: First-timer does not have to be a super star to win this - looking for a roughie, perhaps Bompas has as good a chance as any
R4: Again the Greef / Fourie combo looks to have found the ideal race; I do think Hat Montera at the weights could make that one run ...
R5: I fancied Oranjemund before the original favorite was taken out - skinny odds but should win
R6: Competitive - got to have as many as the budget allows in the exotics imo
R7: Ignitethelite all the rage, but for me I'd like to see her perform on the turf; I do think Sun Spectacular is ideally suited to this race, while the rating of Chere For Me continues dropping - place chance imo although 1400 may be a touch sharp 
R8: Again competitive - Forest Spy at 14s often thereabouts and could go close again 

Best thing for me in SA horse racing is seeing Alan Greeff come short.

- Kingdundee (from draw 1) over 1,200 around the turn beat Golden Link by 0.25 length at level weighs

12/30/2024: 
- Cliff Top (from draw 7) over 1,200m around the turn beat Golden Link by 1.85 lengths and was 3kg heavier. 

Kingdundee now coming back over a 196 day break and taking on Cliff Top at level weights. Cliff Top should have Kingdundee's number by a few lengths - Fourie just needs to hug that inside fence. 

Big strike on Cliff Top @2.52

I don't normally like taking short odds like this, but I think the price is wrong!
