Time will tell Cat - I've always thought at least 2000m and nothings changed my mind yet mate.

Obviously,I can't speak for other Requiem's, but I still reckon mine will pleasantly surprise once she's learnt a bit more of the game. Very Green today and lost a lot of ground mid-race - but she did respond well at the 150m when given a cpl cracks to run on and get 3rd.

By the way Cat, I was well impressed with the winner - she looked well above avg. and I for one won't be surprised if she contests a bunch of big races this year. And in fact, the winner of Foxy's last race is nominated for the big GP3 Fillies Mile on Summer Cup day. So I think you could be a tad premeture in underestimating her at the mo - lol!

Anyhoo Cat, how about a bottle of JWBlack on her winning before season end?
It'll only end up in Dave's cupboard @Turffies, so how about it????

AB - she took a 'bump' at the turn that 'unbalanced' her, and she lost ground and run around a bit green.

Hopefully said whack hasn't done any damage, I haven't heard anything at the mo, so fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about.

As for the time etc. I'm not at all concerned, it's all part of her learning process, and the particular race circumstances - she be ok mate.

So AB if you want a bottle destined for Davey's Tuffies Locker as well - bring it on - lol!

Jim.
(ps when she wins her 2nd - you guys can up it to Blue dbl-lol!!)

Fair enough AB - but I wouldn't offer such a bet if I thought for one second I'd have to pay out on it - lol! ;-)

This Filly will be just fine mate - trust, Jim

Robert, any chance of you scanning and posting the picture of no2son in the charity sprint at Wallyford. You know the one I am referring to.
