Things can only get better 🙏

Good morning punters and hope you had a great festive season and that in 2025 things can only get better. 🤞

We certainly got off to a bad start at the Vaal on first Jan followed by tote confusion and concerns so I guess we can only get better 😉 

We have many expert opinions on the site from "keyboard warriors"  and we are all aware we need the tote to sustain racing. 
I still believe an arrangement that the bookies take the win place market and let the operators take the exotics is a possible solution. 
Alternatively have a national exchange and let the young traders and keyboard wizards get excited about the sport of kings🤴 

There is no doubt the gambling Rand is moving from racing towards other sports and bloody lucky numbers 😢
Many football bets are being taken in Liverpool and Newcastle but a massive potential market in Manchester has emerged 🤣

The darts are also fantastic and we hope Luke the nuke can beat Van Gerwen in a classic final .

Local racing today is PE 
Richard should be able to pull back a few on Craig and Gavin.
The big meeting and Kings Plate will take at Hollywood Kenilworth on Saturday with a good card and I might stick with Lucky Lad to produce a surprise 😮 

The UK racing thread has been good this year and worth checking as we build up to the Cheltenham festival. 

We have had a great time in the Hillcrest area but have to consider the trek back to Pretoria in the next few days .
