I see this a lot in SA racing, blatent disregard for the horses 'wellbeing. In all sports we have a huge comcern for Head injuries and all precautions are taken to  make sure sportsmen do not play with a suspected head injury. Why should.itbe different for our equime athletes??
Horses that rush the gates should be automatically withdrawn. Is vet able to determine an internal injury by looking at a horses head??
DEFINITELY NOT!! So why make it run? I also saw a horse at Turffonteinon Saturday climb all.over the side gate, made to run! This is cruelty and should ne immediately addressed by the NHRA.
And they all run below form and expectations, so no one benefits.

I am sure overseas if you burst through stalls or are unruly  it's automatic withdrawal 🤔
