One bet for me on the day Sea Anemone has been close up recently and looks ready to win , tricky draw but should go close @ 8/1

I'm going for a big outsider today , Cliff Hanger @ 14/1.
Showed huge potential as a 2 year old and has gone off the boil a bit. Hopefully SK can get stuck into him today and get the best out of him 🤞

I think it is much more competitive than the betting suggest ....
R1: Fiery Pegasus all the form in the world - but Andi's Girl also boasts some good form - the ratings suggest that this is a two-horse race - I prefer FP - but those odds are too short imo
R2: On ratings this is a one-horse race - Vix Princess 18 points clear of the favorite - VP needed her last run and should beat Chestnut Bomber - but I think they both have to beat Bay Empire - Lerena putting up 1 kg over-weight - so I think major improvement forthcoming
R3: She's Everything trying an extra 200m - holds City Lights on their last meeting - but it might get close over the 1800 - Incredible Indrani dangerous at best
R4: Typical handicap where tactics will be important - I prefer Nettleton of the van Vuuren runners with Ride On obvious chance - but Sovereigns Call and Turbo Power not out of it
R5: Majestic Touch overdue - as is American Biscuit - but they take on hat-trick seeking Safe Space - Flag Bearer also a chance in a race where only Rainy Season seems to have no chance
R6: Again I'm not sure - Max the Magician good last win, but that was on the stand-side track coming from last; Presley also seems to be not suited to this track - so I prefer Atarime; interesting that AL Akhtaar has changed stables - could be the dark horse
R7: Quite a few starting off their spring campaigns in this race - obviously not easy to guess who is more ready - and the draw will also play a part; Back in Business gave Andi's Girl 6 kgs and a beating, so looks very capable; Chyavana consistent so would have a chance as well (but not a great draw); Quantum Theory good last win and is drawn nicely - but not an easy race
R8: Very tough imo; - Captain Peg at least have the draw, so at 10s looks the value
R9: Closing as we started off in the first; again only 2 can win this - but at the odds my preference would be Roman's Revenge
Enjoy
