Upgraded forum suggestion

The site is flying! Well done to the ABC team implementing this.
I love that now when you post, you see the post immediately show in the forum. No transition page from clicking submit to viewing the forum again. Really feels realtime.

Understood. Yes, that had to be turned off temporarily until we find the bug. I will keep you guys posted.

Unfortunately for now, Tapatalk will not be connected to the forum.
The last stable release from Tapatalk for our system was August 2019, and is not compatible with this version of our platform.

Its not to say they won't update it. If or when they do we will take a look at it again. We are keeping an eye on it.

We are also trying to enhance and bring a better mobile experience. Tapatalk was brought in to give a good mobile experience, but we have that technology to not have to rely on that and thats what we want to do overall.

Hi Sparta. How can I upload a pic directly to the message without an attachment?

In the Forum/Recent_Topics sub-menu the “new” notifications, eg “3 new posts”, are not displayed.

..... tried doing an edit on a post but it was not accepted...

We don’t see clansmen’s avatars. (Low priority).

For me - I'd like to see 'new updates' to a thread - but unless I'm not too savvy, I don't see that; I realize that one has to go with compatible SW versions - so upgrading from time to time is inevitable - probably a damp squib, but I preferred the site before the upgrade
