STATEMENT BY 4RACING CHAIRPERSON CHARLES SAVAGE REGARDING NATIONAL HORSERACING AUTHORITY LIFTING OF TONY PETER INTERIM SUSPENSION

4Racing notes the press release issued by the National Horseracing Authority in relation to the unfortunate incident that took place over the weekend and the lifting of the interim suspension imposed on Tony Peter during the running of the 2023 Betway Summer Cup with concern.

4Racing supports clean racing and looks forward to receiving the findings of the investigation conducted by the National Horseracing Authority as a matter of urgency, whereafter it will issue a further communication on the matter.

I think clarity in this case is a high priority.

There is now doubt that the image of racing has been severely damaged.

The 2nd paragraph from 4Q is holier than thou considering 4Q's underhanded approach to material misrepresentations in their applications for gambling licences to gambling boards, their contrived conduct to thinking that the employment of the chariman of gauteng gambling board as the chairman of 4Q was lawful and a whole host of other dodgy underhanded kak....they should STFU and stay in their corner.

There isn't a more useless bunch than 4Q in this industry.
