Racing goes ahead amongst all the fracas :dry:
Big fields - so not easy - thoughts ..... (after Saturday will be interesting to see how the pools behave - anyway I'm not giving up - although after my play on Saturday I might consider it
)
R1: John WIck best form by far - not sure about the blinkers though; Bob does look clearly second best - but you never know the Habib stable may spring a surprise with the debutante Highveld Storm (of which quite a few are predicted)
R2: Alesia's Love has had a few tries, so I'm not convinced; Storm Secret back after a longish break, so who knows; I think an upset possible - as such perhaps I'm including the roughie Teo Torriattre - excuses in penultmate and last run may have been too far
R3: 7 runners but as per the betting, none can really be ignored - first 2 for me would be Supreme Dance from Terra Time
R4: Not convinced about the form of Judgement Day - but none of the others jump out at me; Twenty Drachmas was left with too much to do, so must have chance with Al Bayreg who could improve more this trip
R5: 16 runner Handicap down the straight - good luck - top of the boards are Fully Loaded and Hotarubi, and these two should be competitive; Pocket Watch does get a few kgs from the top 2, so at 10s not a bad each-way imo
R6: Only 6 runners stand their ground, but bar Eternal Life, any can win - perhaps after 950 days Paton's Tears may have her day, but obviously one can't be too confident
R7: Another 16 runner Handicap down the straight and one would need that pin again; Perilla has the form to double-up; I really was upset that I ignored Whirlybird last time after I tipped (and backed) het the previous time - so again her each-way odds appeal; Grape Shot comes in off a handy mark after a good Maiden win and also has to be considered
R8: Slightly smaller field but another Handicap; Gocekwithlove won nicely last time, but this is over 1000 which may present a problem; Shampimpi made all when winning her Maiden and does get 2.5 kgs from the favorite, so must have a chance; runners like Neerah, White Hills, Inventrix and War Queen can also feature
R9: Another big field; What a Tiger and Empress Game in form and could fight this out, Tres Amici can upset, while Life Goes On and Beaded Gown also in form; Samoa well in here, so could prove dangerous
Enjoy

I do not wish to disrespect anyone on this platform but this Bon guy is employed to give us the race stats not blow smoke up people bottoms. Thus is a shit show about historical investments he never could cut it. I apologize
