Preview: 16 SPIRITED GIRL has run two fair races and looks the one to beat here. 11 EMPRESSOFNORMANDY has shown signs of ability and can improve. 4 SHINE IN MEMPHIS is not out of it on form. 3 ARCTIC COMMANDER should be in the shake up. (David Thiselton 16-11-4-3)

2 POLICY OF TRUTH 1 NOBLE METAL 4 EIGER SANCTION 7 BIG BOY BRUCE
Preview: 2 POLICY OF TRUTH is knocking on the door and tries a touch further. 1 NOBLE METAL has been rested after a fair debut against stronger. 4 EIGER SANCTION has shown enough to have a chance here. 7 BIG BOY BRUCE makes his seasonal reappearance after not being disgraced on debut in July.(David Thiselton 2-1-4-7)

Preview: 3 JUST NUISANCE 4 JUSTCANTGETENOUGH 16 TROPICAL STORM 11 JAPANESE STAR
3 JUST NUISANCE is knocking on the door and gets a good opportunity here. 4 JUSTCANTGETENOUGH has shown some ability and can improve over this trip. 16 TROPICAL STORM wasn’t disgraced on debut and can improve. 11 JAPANESE STAR is well bred and could also improve. (David Thiselton 3-4-16-11)
RACE 4
Preview: 4 ON THE HORIZON looks talented and can make it three in a row. 5 IAM REGAL is consistent and drawn well by trends over a suitable trip. 2 BONIKA is coming to hand on the Highveld and if recapturing Cape form can go close. 10 NYALI BEACH ran a fine race after nearly a year’s layoff last time 3 MAGICAL FLIGHT looks capable of doing even better than last time and has a chance. RACE 5
2 MARY’S GREENLIGHT won her maiden in fine style and can follow up off a reasonable 82 merit rating. 7 ANNEWITHAN E was not disgraced first time out the maidens and can improve. 5 SPRING IN HEAVEN is capable of earning at best. 9 SKYFULL is down to a competitive merit rating.

RACE 6
3 GREENLIGHT MAGIC tries further and is a half-brother to a horse who has won twice over this trip. 7 IDEAL FUTURE has done well in both starts this trip and can still improve. 1 ABSOLUTE VALUE is a talented and consistent stayer who is capable of carrying topweight 5 LITTLE PRINCE is interesting tried for a second time over this trip and he is in form.

8 IN THE ETHER 5 BEADED GOWN 9 RED CARPET GIRL 2 MIDNIGHT FUSION
Preview: 8 IN THE ETHER is capable of a strong late run. 5 BEADED GOWN won well last time and for an in form yard could overcome a three point raise. 9 RED CARPET GIRL is capable of popping up here with a light weight despite officially being 1kg under sufferance. 2 MIDNIGHT FUSION ran a good race after a rest last time and over this trip should have come on from it. 3 PAISLEY PARK 7 ARGO ALLEY 1 AUSSENKEHR 10 SUPER AWESOME
Preview: 3 PAISLEY PARK is hard to win with but he ran a fine race behind a top sprinter over this trip last time. 7 ARGO ALLEY has talent and speed and but has not enjoyed much luck and the blinkers are tried over this shorter trip again. 1 AUSSENKEHR is a strong-running sprinter who can keep going and back in this class he has a chance. 10 SUPER AWESOME is a couple of kg’s under sufferance but should still be involved as he has ability. 9 DUKE OF ROCK 11 JOHNNY DOGS 1 AMPERSAND 2 HALBERDIER
Preview: 9 DUKE OF ROCK ran a decent race in his post maiden start and has a winning chance. 11 JOHNNY DOGS is better than his form suggests and might enjoy this trip. 2 HALBERDIER faced a lot stronger last time and has a chance back in this class. 1 AMPERSAND has ability and should be right there, but he does have a low draw. .(David Thiselton 9-11-2-1)
