PA Quickmix - Up the Tote

Leg 7 of today's PA quickmix, a bet where you have to select the top 3 in the race, the absolute genius in charge of selecting races to include in the bet, chose to include a Ffos Las race with only 4 horses, one of which is a 100/1 despised outsider, in the PA. How do they expect punters to make up their high takeout with leg selections like this.
The next race at Catterick had 12 runners, but of course, this is what happens when there is no consequence for these things.

When the CEO of an organisation is clueless but nevertheless is considered a fundi with a underwhelming possy of useless white knights, you have no choice but to accept the world's best racing experience, delivered to you by 4Q.

Your attention should rather be focussed on the betting executives, whose job covers this, and not the CEO

Its mind boggling that 4Racing continues to operate like a lost cause with a leadership team that, in my opinion, is ordinary at best and just clueless more often than not.

In comparison to Bortz, HWB and their operations team Cape Racing its quite clear that the 4Racing operations team has too many passengers and seemingly not managed nor held accountable for their consistent stuff ups.

Business rescue is imminent for 4Q if this leadership team is not given the boot.

Let me explain why 4Racing will always live in the shadows of a proper competitor. I have never heard of Neil Walters before today and a quick search revealed this beaut:

Neil Walters
Book maker at Voltbet
City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

So follow the dots. Voltbet now long extinct, was owned by Purple Capital or another entity related to the group, its been a while and I don't have the energy to do a proper search but its all there for those that want to check. It was sold to Sunbet and wouldn't you know the previous betting executive at Phumelela was employed from Sunbet. When he left, this fella was appointed. Jobs for pals. The only thing worse would be if he was related to Barry Walters ex Phumelela.

So ask yourself what has Colin Gordon done since being appointed by 4Racing. Perhaps compare like with like and ask yourself if he stands up to what Justin Vermaak has achieved at Cape Racing in a third of the time?

So Stephen Watson who didn't have a clue before being brought in by his buddy, Colin Gordon another one brought in by the same buddy and now this Walters fella all buddies of one man and making no difference. The ex Phumelela brigade being re-employed cements the obvious. They have no idea.

Savage.

The production today on channel 240 was a disaster. The brother at 4Q's studio was blaming the technical nightmares on the incoming pictures from Gallop TV. 4Q pulled a similar move in recent weeks gone by and blamed the poor pictures and sound quality for UK racing on the incoming picture.

Fortunately for Cape Racing and Gold Circle they have sold and they transmit their product directly to international broadcasters. Hence they have insulated themselves from the incompetenance that is widespread and endemic at 4Q and fortunately for Cape Racing and Gold CIrcle, 4Q cannot contaminate their product sold to international markets.

Savage's strategy to employ weak and green lieutenants so that he can control them is a failed business strategy. The sooner he goes with his lieutenants the better for the sustainability of racing.

I think a p.a quick mix last 4 legs is also the four legs of the quickmix2 .Once the quickmix2 completes they normally start with a quick mix 3 .That's probably the rationale that they are using. They try to get the quickmix3 over before the exotic bets start in the evening .But I do share the frustration as there is really no value in the race for the exotic bet.
