Race 1 Priced up a match race between Ethanator and MK's Dreams. I like MK.
Race 2 Articuno brings fair Cape form, but I prefer Mary's Greenlight. Lady Elliott, Striking Angel, lady D'Arbanville, Thing Called Love all promising debuts and can improve to challenge. Watch the well bred first timers from Tarry.
Race 3 Brosnan is moderate, but best of the older brigade. Joker man is my pick from Neerah, King Rahul and Statesman.
Race 4 I think that Feather Boa will struggle to give 4kg to Bless My Stars, which is my pick. Reny may need this. If River Queraress can recapture her 2yo form she is a big runner at the weights.
race 5 Queen of Camelot, Platina Princess and Colorado Creek look the right 3, but juveniles can make fools of us.
Race 6 Max the Magician my pick from Pure Predator and Main Defender.
Race 7 Puerto Manzano is the class horse but must give away a lot of weight and this is likely to be a warm up run for him. Whafeef, Indlamu and Pyromaniac can upset at the weights. Jimmy Don has to give 6kg to Laguna Verde and Electric Gold, which seems too much. I think that Laguna Verde ew is the value play.
Race 8 The older fillies are moderate, and not much between 1,2,4. Spring In Heaven not the easiest task for a 2yo this trip, but could be good enough against these.
Race 9 A moderate bunch, and maybe Feldavian good enough on Cape form , although little between 1,2,3,4,5.

What's up with the result of the Jubilee today as reported on Formgrids - definitely there was not 1.25 lengths between Pyromaniac and Jimmy Don - more like a nose - not that it matters ito the July - as I don't think we have seen the July winner today - in fact I think that only Puerto Manzano from the Jubilee should get into the July - and even the trainer has said that the July would be a bonus - as Greyville should prove a challenge :dry:
