Floccipaucinausinihilification. One of the longest words in the English dictionary. And a practice in which most trainers specialize. It's the art of saying virtually nothing in a long-winded way. Alan Greef is a master. 'Greeness is always an issue and one can never tell with 1st timers but if she's not too green and doesn't need the run too badly and if she jumps on terms she could run a decent race' In reality she's a speed machine and we've backed her from 4/1 to 7/10 and we're fully expecting her to win. So whilst one appreciates their chatting to Nadine its mostly just mouthing platitudes !

Fully agree.
The only honest comments are from Gavin Venter.

Wow now watching Neil and Nadine discuss their opinions on full screen rather than ACTUAL FUCKING RACING.

Agree with Sammy Silver. Gavin Venter straight shooter ! If trainers don't want to divulge any info then STFU ! I remember many years ago a trainer admitting to Neil Pretorius in a post-race interview that he'd lied earlier about his horse's chances. Neil will remember the incident at Kenilworth...

Hence i don't listen to any of them. Just the commentator when the horses goes to post and then back to mute!!

Fancy a few at big odds today - even if one of them win one could end up in front
R3:Twice A Saint - should prefer the extra on breeding (Twice Over out of a Dynasty mare) - Muzi rides and not the strongest field imo
R4: Muzi again on Cape Bouquet - will stay and ran some fair races in Gauteng - fillies get an advantage at the weights in these races and again no world-beaters here
R5: I Like It Hot - 1000m specialist and looks well handicapped here on fair KZN form
R6: Stolen Kiss - looks best this track and trip and another who seems well handicapped
R7: Summer Odyssey - has beaten the colts before - 1200 may be a stretch but looks value at the odds
R8: Uncle George - fair Maiden win this track and trip - unfashionable jock but stable rider probably can't make the weight - another who seems well handicapped
And if they all win, I can retire

Greenness is always a concern, if not too green then a decent run is expected. Cliffordius you hit the nail on the head. We need a proper presenter doing the interviews to ask the right questions, because currently it is basically mindless just giving comments for the sake of it.
