I've put a few shekels each-way on Dakota Cat in the first - does not seem the strongest field and DC only ran a length behind Platina Princess who won convincingly on Tuesday B)

Looks a punter-friendly card (famous last words) - most races probably only 3 or 4 that can win imo - in addition to Dakota Cat in the first, I also fancy After Hours in the 6th, while I think Mcebisi will put up a bold effort from pole position in the last - don't think the payouts will be that great

Enjoy B)

Shows you how the game is all about opinion. I think there are a lot of vulnerable Favs today that could easily miss the frame.

For me these Favs R2 #8, R4 #3, R5 #2, R7 #2 are all beatable.

Also don't really fancy 2 in the 1st, but my fancy #3 is scratched now so I'm not as strongly against it as I was before. I also don't trust the hottie in R3, although should win.

Dakota in the 1st and After Hours I also make big runners.

Frodo, oh.... so, so stiff there.......... everywhere a winner except on the line

I went e/way but 15 / 2 is sooo much better than a place !!

Agreed that they are beatable - but for me the point is that there are just one or two that can beat them ...

R2: Should lie between Bom Bom (pole position), Brotherhood and No Place Like Home

R3: War Empress on form very hard to beat imo - only the first-timer could be a danger

R4: I do hold a candle for Strike a Match - who has beaten Mover and Shaker before - but even taking the field will not hurt the budget

R5: Another 3-horse contest - can't see anything but Vitellius, Hazlo Grande and Luthuli - and Luthuli is me preference

R6: As stated, I think After Hours is overdue - Feather the Nest imo the biggest danger from pole position; would be stupid to ignore Defender of RIghts - but I think she will be beaten again

R7: This looks more open - if Stratospheric does not win, a case can be made for many others - but I think Stratospheric will continue to improve; Bloomington at best on the Turf Inside track - but could make the favorite run

R8: Between 3 runners in the last; apart from Mcebisi who is overdue imo and has pole position. I think Eagle Alley will be right there and then Napoleon - dont like Bob's Your Uncle with that weight

Let's see B)
