THRILLER its 40 years since the classic.

Good morning all, I was in the process of considering a suitable song link for Charles Dickens.
I was looking at "I want more" from Oliver Twist but was going to settle for Another Brick in the Wall "if you don't eat your meat, you are not getting any pudding "

The bottom line is that we do "need more" stars to help promote racing.

I then heard it was 40 years ago today we had our first exposure to the classic Jackson video.
I was given a copy of the tape from UK visitors and it really was a THRILLER.

Let's be honest we have thrilling times ahead as far as local racing.
The main topic on the site the last few days has been Charles Dickens and I am trying not to get carried away but racing has always needed a champion plus it's great to get punters to the track.

We have a thrilling Saturday in the Cape with the WSB Fillies Guineas and Ciao Bella 15/10 appears a decent sort.
We also have JET DARK in the Green Point Stakes and 2/1 appears generous.
Charles runs on the 17th in the Cape Guineas and is currently 6/10 and can I say this also sounds rather generous, considering Cousin Casey is in the race the new star might have some opposition?

The real THRILLER could be the Kings Plate on the 7th of January where Charles 3/1 could meet Jet Dark 33/10 note! If you are taking ATC bets that there is a deduction on same horse doubles.

On the subject of great clashes overseas, Cheltenham is still a few months away but the Champion Hurdle clash between the new star Constitution Hill 7/10 vs the current champ Honeysuckle 4/1 will certainly guarantee a full house.

What ever the outcome we are sure to have a THRILLER on our hands over the next few weeks.

Love Michael or hate him this was a classic in its time.

Good Punting 👍

Just when we were getting close to the first THRILLER......

Jet Dark gets small injury and KOMM is 13/10 for Saturday.
After listening to video from trainer all sounds good for the people's horse.
