Good morning to the CLAN, difficult to get back to normal after yesterdays racing, where we seen Zarkava winning and a nice run from our baby, plus plenty festivities, but its back to bread and butter races today.

Just check the admission prices and the place will be full house on a gloomy Monday, where do we go wrong?

MONDAY

What's happening?

It'sTrinidad & Tobago day at Pontefract. Racing starts at 2.10pm and features the Phil Bull Conditions Stakes – which saw Geordieland outbattled in 2007 by Love Brothers – and the £15,000 Trinidad & Tobago Handicap over 1m.

Off the track there's plenty going on with a taste of the Caribbean in the Dalby Bar, along with Hugo and The Huguenotes Trinidadian Steel Band and finalists from Miss Trinidad & Tobago in the crowd. Some come along when the tropical comes to Pontefract.

Admission: Premier £20, Grandstand & Paddock £13, Second £6, Picnic £4.
