Good morning all, today I would just like to have a break from racing politics and mention a few horses.
We could write a book with the amount of dialog between poor quality coverage and the wheeling and dealing of our racing authorities.
On a positive note!
What a pleasure the last week has been as far as watching quality horses from overseas and our UK racing thread has been very informative.
Not forgetting our local threads where our competition winner ELVIS is still on fire.
We probably witnessed the Oaks winner EMILY UPJOHN 15/10 in action and she was very impressive.
The Derby picture also has thrown up a couple of Classic contenders: DESERT CROWN 22/10 and this came after watching STONE AGE 7/2 impressive performance for Ryan Moore.
We also have BAAEED running at Newbury on Saturday 9/20 to make it 7 from 7.
Locally can we DO IT AGAIN?
It's absolutely essential we watch the return of STRADIVARIUS 13/10 today at York.
The eight year old will be trying to make it 20 wins and it could also be a group European record of 18 wins, he is currently joint holder on 17.
It does not really matter if you have a punt but just to watch Frankie do his dismount in front of a guaranteed full house parade ring will be a spectacular event .
