So 18 people made 73K each? Am I getting this right? I know nothing of how exotics work sorry... or did it pay 73k รท by tickets?

Not strictly correct - there were 18 tickets (if you are right) - so some cheapskate punters like me would only have a percentage of a ticket - still a profit is a profit ;)

Thanks Frodo. I honestly have no idea how it works, will look it up. I have stayed away since around 2009, when I realized I could hardly pick a place. Perhaps now it is time to look at it more often. But only if I can pick the pick6 at least 4 times out of 6. I think with handicaps it is pretty easy most of the time, but with maidens and new runners I have no idea so it would be a gamble most of the time. I hate gambling. I wonder what is easier, picking a place accumulator or a pick 6 regularly so that it brings consistent money.

Either way, well done on you selections today and enjoy the loot!

I think if you can get a P6 right once out of ten tries, you would be very successful, but imo I think once out of 25 tries is maybe more realistic - depends on the budget - and then if you spend too much, you run the risk of not getting your stake back

PA and BP are infinitely easier to catch - and at least you could double or treble up - again it comes down to the risk of not getting your stake back

Then you have the P3 and JP - and Naresh I think swears by P3s - same principle applies as with the P6 but of course one would be hoping to catch them more regularly

Safest option imo is still picking a horse that you are convinced will place and then back it each way - 1 unit win and 4 or 5 units place - but that is so boring ;)

NEIL ANDREWS was very strong on the Soma horse in the last.

I think he killed the bookies and told Clocking the Gallop viewers to empty out.

Well done to him as he is a strong form studier and a shrewd punter.
